Saturday, March 6 was a cool and sunny day in Houston. While many Houstonians put on their “yard work clothes” and got busy out in their own back yards for some needed yard work, 30 special servants from St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church drove 20 miles from their homes and showed their love of Christ by meeting this need for the ministry.

They brought the laborers, bought the flowers and mulch, and even supplied the food for everyone to enjoy a hamburger and hot dog cookout after all the work was done!

These special servants took our empty vegetable garden and planted turnips, herbs,and some tomatoes. They also planted a multitude of flowers all over the LifeHouse property. In addition to all the landscaping work, they even brought out their ladders and did a little painting and “sprucing up” here and there. Come Saturday evening the LifeHouse property looked lovely!
